Forward Casey Fratkin, who the Cents traded to Nanaimo last month, is on the move again. This time, it’s the LaRonge Ice Wolves of the SJHL who have acquired the Burnaby product’s rights. On the BCHL website, it incorrectly lists the Ice Wolves in the SIJHL, but they are in fact a member of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. It certainly has been a whirlwind junior career for Fratkin, as noted when he was traded to the Clippers last month. He’s had stops in Merritt, Vernon, Nanaimo, Chase, North Bay, ON and now La Ronge, SK. I hope for Fratty’s sake that he’s able to settle in one spot this season and play hockey for his final year of junior availability.
