The Alberni Valley Bulldogs have made their second trade in as many days, once again moving a player who is playing out his junior eligibility this season.
On the heels of trading leading scorer F Dylan Nowakowski (91) to the Brooks Bandits, the Bulldogs have now sent D Mike Puddifant (91) to the Fort MacMurray Oil Barons for future considerations.
Sources tell me that Puddifant still needs to clear BCHL waivers for the deal to go through, and if he isn’t claimed by any of the other 15 teams, then the veteran of 158 junior ‘A’ games will officially become property of the Oil Barons.
**UPDATE: Puddifant HAS cleared BCHL waivers and will join Fort MacMurray**
